March Update:

First winter trip to the cabin in five years and I’m bringing the camera. They say the snow is chest deep, so maybe I’ll need the snowshoes instead of the skiis…

February Update:

Murder on the Air is a special dinner theatre performance for Lakeshore Players in White Bear Lake, MN. I’ll be playing five voice characters as one of the Hotsy Totsy Radio Players and helping to capture the event on video February 11th & 12th.

January Update:

Took some great footage during Caribbean Cruise from New Orleans to Honduras that’ll have to be part of a future travel series. It was fun to spend some time in the French Quarter with my fiance Renee before heading out to sea.

Due to large crowds & heavy traffic, I missed the actual plunge of my brother & nephew IN White Bear Lake 1/29. They weren’t willing to re-create their Polar Plunge as a gorilla & a banana, but challenged me to join them next year. Brrrrr!

December Update:

My Lakeshore Players involvement has expanded to include “Murder on the Air,” a live dinner theatre performance set in 1927 White Bear Lake, MN with moonshine, mayhem & murder. I play several characters in a who-done-it tragic comedy at White Bear’s Armory on February 11th & 12th.

Finished shooting & now working to edit “Doing my Nails”…a short time-lapse mockumentary.

November Update:

Continue to hone the traveling “WLRP Radio Road Show” with Lakeshore Players. Looks to tour into 2011 with various voice actors at senior centers and churches throughout the greater Twin Cities area. Enjoyed live performance of “A Don’t Hug Me Christmas Carol” in Mpls and first Wild hockey game in St. Paul.

October Update:

Performed with Lakeshore Radio Players in first “Radio Road Show” perform in White Bear Lake. It features live renditions of classic old-time radio shows including “My Friend Irma,” “Baby Snooks,” and a “Five Minute Mystery.”

Trip to Hawaii included hike up Diamond Head and dangerous off-road adventure on Maui.

September Update:

Shot some beautiful wilderness video during canoe trip to the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota. Then visited sister Lynn in New York with fiancee’ Renee. Got some great footage of the Palisades along the Hudson River as well as building shots in the City. Look for a forthcoming “Pigeons closeup.”

August Update:

Covered baptisms IN White Bear Lake. Video to follow. Also interviewed Finnish “Uncle Roy” during brother George Rivers 86th birthday party. Watch for some great depression era Iron Range insights and perhaps an Eino & Toivo joke or two! Trip to Boundary Waters Canoe Area should bring some wonderful shots of wilderness & wildlife…

April Update: Completed Mission of Hope trip to Haiti and editing documentary footage. “Why Help Haiti?” begins with a 10-minute segment featuring a Miraculous Earthquake Survivor who was saved as dozens around him died while singing praises to God.
